The Vegan Society works towards making veganism an easily adopted and widely recognised approach to reducing animal and human suffering. Most of the NATorigin range is now registered with The Vegan Society, giving reassurance to our stockists and customers about our natural and allergy-friendly skincare and cosmetics.
We attended The Natural and Organic Products Europe Show 2017 and were thrilled to be awarded Best Natural Mascara and receive Highly Commended for NATorigin Nail Polishes at the Natural Health Magazine International Beauty Awards 2017.
After entering and winning numerous Natural Health International Beauty Awards over the past 6 years, this year we have decided to sponsor these prestigious beauty awards.
It seems like the natural progression to cement our synergy with the magazine and their awards process.
We have chosen to sponsor the following categories

The awards ceremony will be held at Natural and Organic Products Europe on 2-3 April 2017. The ceremony will take place in the theatre next to the Natural Health Magazine stand, with celebratory drinks taking place from 2pm to 5pm.
We hope to raise the profile of natural beauty and NATorigin amongst visitors to the show and to readers of the magazine.
The judges have made their decision and awarded NATorigin Nail Enamel their Beautiful Nails Award. The panel included Zoe Ball, Lynne McTaggart, Dr Marilyn Glenville, Jo Wood and Carrie Grant.
This year’s Allergy Awareness Week is here and on Wednesday the focus is on skin allergies. From the 25th April to the 1st May, watch out for news, blogs and features from Allergy UK – a national charity established to represent people with allergy, food intolerance and chemical sensitivity.
We work closely with Allergy UK to raise awareness of their allergy-friendly products and they have compiled a list of key points to remember about skin allergies;
For example, in a comparison of natural and synthetic products by Jenny Stocks of the Daily Mail, NATorigin mascara scored a perfect 10/10 beating off Max Factor’s Masterpiece Mascara.

Allergy UK has published an article about the rising rates of hay fever, its causes and how many people are not using their medication properly. This means they are struggling with symptoms such as sore, watery eyes, blocked and runny noses, sneezing, tiredness and an itchy throat. The article gives some really good advice tips on getting the best out of hayfever treatments. Maureen Jenkins, director of clinical services at Allergy UK, said: “We are urging people to check whether they are using their medication correctly rather than just soldiering on and prolonging their suffering.’
As a pharmacist and (hay fever suffering) optician-owned supplier to health stores and online beauty retailers, we understand how distressing hayfever can be and have seen the challenges faced by women with sensitive eyes who want to look their best.
The Green Parent Magazine Beauty Awards search for the cleanest, greenest and most effective natural products in a range of categories. The magazine has an independent panel of beauty experts to try out each of the submitted products and write about their experiences. After a sufficient period of testing, they select the award winners in each category.
