Due to the popularity and success of the 7eye range, we now stock the Nereus and Ventus models.
This adds two mid-size and well-designed frames to our existing selection, improving the choice we can offer opticians’ patients with dry, irritated or allergy eyes.
Ziena Nereus
The Ziena Nereus with a silicone eyecup is smart and well-suited to the business environment. It looks particularly good on men with medium-sized faces due to its angular lines. The dark grey frame colour (Titan) of the Ziena Nereus gives a smart appearance and versatility to this pair of dry eye glasses.
The medical grade silicone eyecups help reduce air flow around the eyes. This eases dry eye symptoms from a wide range of environmental factors:

All models can also be glazed with prescription lenses, subject to certain limitations due to the curvature of the frame and eyecups. Please speak with your own lab or ask us about our partner lab.
The Nereus is supplied with translucent white silicone eyecups that attach to the frame with mini magnets (spares are available). Replacement eyecups can be ordered separately as well and there is also a black version for extra sun protection. Each pair comes with a luxury lined leather case and microfibre bag that can also be used as a lens cloth.
Airshield Ventus
The Airshield Ventus is a wraparound frame with an integral eyecup made of soft foam that comfortably holds a layer of warm, moist air against the eyes.
With rectangular lenses and a frame that slightly tapers towards the outer corners, this medium-sized frame can be worn by men or women. The close-fitting eyecups can be replaced, ensuring their efficacy and extending the life and investment in the frame.
The bendable arms allow for adjustment on the fit and a secure hold during exercise. An excellent choice for the cyclists, the Ventus has flat sides that can sit under a helmet. The windflow into the eyes is reduced, keeping both the head and eyes warm and comfortable.
Before wearing the glasses, it is worth applying any creams or sun protection well ahead of time. This avoids them from affecting the eyecup sitting against the skin.
